Meet Tami & Our Story
My dad is from Lafayette, Louisiana, and I grew up surrounded by the rich, comforting aromas of authentic Creole cooking. Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of staying with my father and my grandparents, waking up to the rich, distinct smell of Creole cooking filling the entire home. Those treasured family traditions inspired my lifelong love of food and remain at the very heart of my menu today.
Foundational to my culinary journey was spending time alongside my grandfather in his vegetable garden. Walking down those quiet rows and harvesting fresh, vibrant vegetables straight out of the earth taught me to respect the natural beauty of real, wholesome food. Being able to bring those sun-ripened ingredients straight into the kitchen planted the seed for my lifelong passion for gardening and garden-fresh flavor—a deep love for scratch-cooking with the freshest produce that continues to define everything I make.
My mother, who was raised in Omaha, Nebraska, added another layer of warmth and devotion to my relationship with food. Growing up, she showed me that preparing a meal is one of the most powerful ways to express love. No matter what the day held, my mom always made it a priority to prepare high-quality, nourishing meals made strictly from the heart. She instilled in me the immense value of knowing how to cook well, teaching me that true quality isn't just about technique, but about the genuine care and pride you pour into every dish for the people you serve.
While Creole cuisine is my true specialty, I find deep joy in preparing a beautiful variety of scratch-made dishes designed to bring people together. To share as many of these flavors as possible, I feature a completely new, rotating menu every month—offering a fresh culinary journey alongside my beloved family staples. Seeing others enjoy my cooking brings me genuine happiness, and I am truly honored to share my passion, my heritage, and my heart with every single pre-order meal I create.
